The New Life Plan is Hard Work, But It’s Working

We implemented the New Life Plan in September of 2018, and have had a successful full fiscal year of impact!

  • 562  individuals participated in our RESCUE services of assessment and counseling.
  • 232  received emergency help with food, shelter, and more.
  • 62  adults entered and completed our RESTORATION services of experiencing inner healing, actualizing life skills, and employment preparation.
  • 29 individuals moved into permanent housing and continued support as part of the REENTRY phases.

These men, women and children are breaking the cycle of homelessness in their own lives and for the next generation! Your love and generosity are now being made evident in the lives of the Mission’s clients and alumni. The New Life Plan is working.

But the need is still great. 6,000 individuals and 4,300 children are considered homeless in Wake County. In a city and county as prosperous as ours, that’s truly hard to imagine!

Raleigh Rescue Mission needs a total of $1.16 million by December 31 from major investors like you in order to secure full New Life Scholarships for 74 men, women, and children so they can complete their New Life Plan, break their cycle of poverty, and truly start their new life!
