June brings warm weather, and the end of the school year. Many families take summer vacations to relax and have fun together. Kids go away to summer camp or spend lazy days at the neighborhood pool. It’s a time for getaways. A time for forgetting about routine and responsibility.
There is no vacation from homelessness despite what the summer season means to many of us. However, here at Raleigh Rescue Mission we have BIG plans for the parents and children in our care this summer. We urgently need your help to keep our programs running and help us break the cycle of homelessness. Some of our summer programming includes:
