While many of us count our blessings at Thanksgiving by sitting down to a bountiful meal with family and friends, there are families in Wake County who won’t enjoy a plate full of turkey and all the trimmings without our help.
Last year’s Turkey Takeout was a blessing to many, and we’re teaming up with Southeast Raleigh Table on Thanksgiving Day to do it again and expand it even further! Community neighbors will be able to drive by to pick up delicious and ready-to-eat meals, and we’ll be delivering them to Meals on Wheels recipients and others who can’t come to us.
THANK YOU to the volunteers who will package, distribute, drive and deliver over 1,200 meals to area recipients.
