Raleigh Rescue and Tammy Lynn Center Team Up for the Kids

August 22, 2019

Thanks to a generous grant from the United Way of the Greater Triangle, we have started a new partnership with Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities (TLC). The relationship and funding is designed to support young children and their families at Raleigh Rescue Mission.

As part of this pilot program, individuals from TLC will visit the Mission weekly to help assess children ages birth to 5 who may be at risk for delays or have special needs. They’ll also provide knowledge and training for the Mission’s childcare staff. If services are needed, the two organizations will work together to provide the resources and educational opportunities available to best support each child and his/her parent.

You’ll hear much more about this exciting new collaboration in the coming months.
