Housing Update – Clients Move to Apartment Living

September 18, 2019

You might remember a recent article about an innovative way to give: providing affordable rental property for our clients. We’re happy to report that in the last couple of weeks, two of our clients completed the Mission’s New Life Plan and moved into apartments in West Raleigh. These apartments are part of the Phase 5 master lease housing program.

These hard-working clients have progressed from obtaining basic needs such as food, clothing, hygiene and healthcare, through a series of programs that include counseling, vocational training, obtaining a car, gaining employment and now moving into their own apartment. With the grace of God and the help of their Client Support Specialists and other staff, mentors, aftercare support and generous investors, they’re made lasting changes. And with the continued support of property owners who can make affordable housing a reality for the Raleigh Rescue Mission program, more and more of our clients will be able to succeed in this same way.
