Employment is a crucial part of our New Life Plan, as clients need a way to build stability for themselves and their families, saving money for a car and eventually a home. When you hire a client at Raleigh Rescue Mission, he or she is on the path to self-sufficiency.  In return, you get a reliable, hard-working employee.

Clients graduate from Jobs for Life every 30 days, so we are always looking for job opportunities. These graduates are ready and willing to go to work. By the time clients are seeking employment, they have been at the Mission for several months developing or adding onto skills that make them valuable hires. They complete academic, vocational, and character-building classes to prepare them for today’s job market. They also learn important soft skills such as integrity, work ethic, communication, positivity, good judgment, and teamwork.
