Virginia first became involved at Raleigh Rescue Mission in 2015 when the Lord put a calling in her heart to do more to live the way Jesus lived. That invitation from God led her to volunteer with the Mission, building relationships with clients, playing with the children, and praying earnestly.
As she’s watched the Mission transform over the past few years, Virginia was excited when an opportunity for her serve Raleigh Rescue Mission could overlap with her background in Human Resources. She was ready to take everything she learned from her degree, PHR Certification, and prior work experiences and apply it somewhere where she was helping the Raleigh community. She is honored to be in a role where she can impact the clients’ experiences by supporting and equipping the staff.
When she’s not working or helping her friends with their resumes, Virginia can be found spending time with family and friends. She loves to cook, be outdoors, and explore downtown Raleigh.
