Veronica Ritchie

Veronica Ritchie is a nonprofit executive with over two decades of dedicated experience in fundraising, communications and community engagement. As Chief Philanthropy Officer at Roof Above in Charlotte for almost 10 years, she led transformative growth in philanthropic giving—expanding annual contributions from $2.8 million to $8.9 million—and helped raise $41 million through the “Close to Home” capital campaign. A compassionate leader and a believer in responsive fundraising, Veronica is deeply committed to advancing housing and human services initiatives that uplift those experiencing homelessness. She holds a master’s degree in Speech Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from NC State University.
