Sam is married to his wife Lauren and is the dad of three young kids. He is the Director of Growth for Monteith Construction and first started there in 2012. He hails from Dallas, Texas and was on a state championship football team in high school. He was an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia and he earned his MBA from Duke. Sam taught middle school Spanish in Charlotte through Teach For America and has a heart for teaching and serving. He serves in a leadership role with several organizations including New City Fellows, American Cancer Society, F3 and his church Holy Trinity Anglican.
