Volunteers are an important partner in ministering to the homeless and hurting in our community! Each year, God blesses us with hundreds of compassionate people who wish to serve. Please read below to learn about the volunteer opportunities currently available.

The items listed below are things we use regularly so we run out fast, please help us keep our pantry stocked.
You can buy a 20- to 31-gallon stackable, plastic storage tub with lid and fill it up with the items listed above. While we would love for you to include all of the listed items in your tub, it is not necessary. Return your tub to Raleigh Rescue Mission, 314 E. Hargett Street, Raleigh, Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm.
Must be at least 18 years old. Help needed includes:
Receptionist (answering the phone and scheduling donations
Marketing (social media, in store promotions, out of store promotions)
Large and small appliance electronics tester
Groups of up to 40 adults are mostly assigned the task of sorting donations. We schedule groups Mondays through Saturdays for three or four hour shifts, but we can work with your schedule to best accommodate your volunteer group.
