Counting Our Blessings, Celebrating our Milestones

Thank God for the miracles we are privileged to witness each and every day at Raleigh Rescue Mission. Here are just a few of the latest milestones and activities during October:
- 4 clients graduated from the early October Jobs for Life course and 3 clients started new jobs
- We just completed an additional JFL class with 10 graduates
- 1 client purchased a vehicle with the help of the Mission and its partners
- 1 client secured housing and has moved from the Mission into Aftercare support
- Everyone at the Mission enjoyed a Fall Festival this past weekend, complete with food, games, music and crafts
- The Children’s Development Center is hosting a Halloween party for the children later this week. There’ll be face painting, a photo booth, and pumpkin decorating, along with a “Blessing Brigade” where children get to dress up and visit staff offices for Halloween treats. Many thanks to our supporters for providing the children with costumes that will make their Halloween extra-special!
Continue to pray for clients to be encouraged by their progress and to persevere on their journey through the New Life Plan. Pray for the children in our care to experience the love and safety that surrounds them. Pray for our staff, board members and supporters to know how valuable they are to the Mission.
