Got a Gift for Organization?
When you coordinate a drive for RRM, we’ll use your donation to feed and care for the homeless and hungry. Download our drives flier listing ideas for helping Raleigh Rescue Mission through your church, school, work or service group. Here are some more fun and simple ideas for all ages!
• Hold a “scavenger hunt” for items on our food and year-round needs lists.
• Hold a drive at your workplace, church, school or meeting hall. (We can supply a speaker if requested!)
• Invite coworkers or classmates to bring groceries, healthcare or other items and take a tour of Raleigh Rescue Mission.
• Take a special offering at church for the Mission.
• Take your kids shopping for items on our list then bring them for a tour.
• Purchase gift cards at Sam’s Club so we can shop for items in bulk.

Tips for Giving Donations
We appreciate the generosity of our donors who provide so many of the necessities we use or distribute to the needy each day. Here are some tips for donating:
• Please ask yourself before giving an item: “Would I wear/use this myself or give it to a friend?"
• We cannot lawfully use home-canned food or opened containers of food, medications or healthcare items.
• We cannot use gifts that are torn, stained, broken or otherwise in need of repair.
• We are unable to pick up donations. Please contact The Salvation Army, Vietnam Vets or Helping Hand Mission they will gladly pick up your donation.
• Please check our website and newsletters for our most current
in-kind needs, or call us for specific information.
Bring donations to our drop off site (see photo) located on the left side of our building, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
