New Life Plan

We offer structured, long-term recovery from homelessness, addiction and other life-controlling issues based on Biblical principals that really work.

In the first days, a case manager works with each person to map their path out of homelessness. Everyone is encouraged to stay at least four months to take advantage of:

  • Life skills classes
  • Vocational training
  • Interview coaching
  • Mentoring
  • Discipleship and other services

We also meet the individual needs of each client by providing things like:

  • Food, shelter, showers, clothing, and hygiene items
  • Medical, dental and eye care
  • Childcare while parents attend classes or go to work
  • Counseling and mental health care

When clients are ready for independent living Raleigh Rescue Mission staff assist in locating affordable housing.

We often have a waiting list for this program.

To find out how you can be added to the waiting list, call:
Men: 919.828.9014, Ext. 147.
Women/Women with children: 919.828.9014, Ext 109.

Our Homeless Services Resource Referral Card is another place to find help if you need it now.

“My homelessness goes back 20 years. I could easily have passed in my sleep. The day my name came up on the waiting list, I was about to give up and relapse. It was a do-or-die moment. Within 30 minutes of the call, I was doing the intake. It was a blessing.” – Maxwell
