Raleigh Rescue Mission Honored at Raleigh On Ice Gala

Over seventy five people attended the Raleigh On Ice Gala held at The Sutherland tonight.  It was an evening to celebrate and honor the sponsors and volunteers who helped bring this new holiday tradition to our community.  Raleigh On Ice is a series of outdoor, synthetic ice rinks that were located at the area's premier shopping centers during the holidays.  A portion of the proceeds from Raleigh On Ice benefited Raleigh Rescue Mission and hundreds of blankets, coats and canned food were collected as part of their community drives. Raleigh Rescue Mission is honored to be part of Raleigh On Ice and grateful for their generous support in helping us minister to homeless and poor men, women and children in our area.
