Homeless Services Resource Referral Card
Have you ever encountered a homeless person and wanted to help them but not sure how? Giving money may help temporarily, or it may enable them to continue habits that have attributed to their homelessness. You don’t want to ignore them; you want to help in a meaningful way. One way you can help in that moment is to provide them with information about where and how they can get the assistance they need. Raleigh Rescue Mission created a “Homeless Services Resource Referral Card” (see PDF below) that contains information about services and programs in the Raleigh area for the homeless. You can print this two sided card and fold it to fit inside your wallet so that it is accessible when you need it. When you use this card, please remember to pray for the person you are giving it to.
