Donna came to us with nothing but the clothes on her back and what she could squeeze into a couple of tote bags. She was trying hard to stay clean and sober and find a job.

But in this economy, every door slammed shut.

Fortunately, we had a bed available for her. After a good meal, a hot shower and a change of clothes, she began taking classes and learning about God. With her new life and job skills, plus a bus pass and interview clothing, she got a job. We helped her set aside 75% of her pay for a place of her own. In June, she had enough to move out.
