Meet the newest member of our leadership team. Donna Harris-Bryant joined us as Director of Women & Children’s Ministries in August of 2018, and she’s hit the ground running. She has 20 years of experience working with culturally diverse and underserved populations, dedicating her life to serve the homeless, victims of domestic violence and other forms of trauma, the mentally ill, substance abusers and veterans. In addition, Donna has advanced training in critical incident stress management, crisis intervention, spiritual counseling, suicide prevention and intervention, and psychological first aid.

Prior to the Mission, Donna was Program Director for several agencies in the New York area. She completed a BA and Masters of Social Work at State University of New York, and is licensed as an LMSW. She is passionate about training and developing teams, having created numerous workshops and models for professional enrichment.

Donna has a quiet, spiritual nature with a gentle smile and is passionate about leading as a Disciple of Christ. Her family is adjusting well to life in North Carolina, where 2 of her children attend college in NC and her youngest son attends Wake County public high school and participates in several sports.
