Raleigh Rescue Mission Received 120 Turkeys from Turkeys For the Triangle

November 17, 2016

The annual Turkeys for the Triangle distribution event raised 2,500 turkeys for local Raleigh nonprofits to make the Thanksgiving holiday even brighter for homeless and low income families and our service members.

Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston distributed 2,500 turkeys on Wednesday, November 16 and donated 120 of these turkeys to Raleigh Rescue Mission. We will use these turkeys to prepare 800 hot turkey dinners for our Gobbles to Go Outreach program, which provides Thanksgiving meals to elderly, shut-in and struggling individuals and families in the Triangle. We thank Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston for their generosity in providing these turkeys to our residents and neighbors.

ABC-11 reporter, Gloria Rodriguez came out to Raleigh Rescue Mission to find our own Phil Cunningham roasting Thanksgiving turkeys . Watch here: http://abc11.com/food/2500-turkeys-donated-to-families-service-members/1610092/
